About the module feedback survey
Each semester the Ulster University runs an internal module evaluation called the Module Feedback Survey. The questionnaires run three times a year, commencing in week 11 of each semester.
The Module Feedback Survey is your opportunity to speak out, to let academic staff know what you like about the way your modules are taught and to make suggestions for changes that you would like to see in the future.
The structure of the survey is short and concise statements. Nobody likes completing long questionnaires! It is made up of 14 closed statements and 2 open questions, allowing you the opportunity to comment upon different aspects of your module experience. Questions cover module delivery, assessment, feedback, learning resources, the tutor and ,if appropriate, placement.
The survey is anonymous, it is not possible for your lecturers, course co-ordinator or head of school to see who said what in the evaluation. However, in order to get the most out of this type of communication it is your responsibility to ensure that any comments you make are constructive and that the feedback given can be used to either keep up the high quality of teaching, or make improvements for the future.
